Cap & Gown Picture Day is next

Wednesday, April 26 starting at 8:00 A.M.

Students should wear the following under their gowns:

Black dress shoes and dark dress socks

White dress shirt (may be short-sleeved)

Dark dress pants (black)

Black Bow Tie

Spring dress
Nude colored dress shoes (no flip flops)
The spring dress does not need to be showing at the top of the gown at the V neck.
Dresses need to be "church" appropriate-in other words, they can be shorter than the school dress code and be strapless, but students must have something school code appropriate to change in to once they return to school.

The School District of Newberry and Whitmire Community School use the SchoolMessenger® communication tool to get emergency messages to students’ parents/guardians quickly by telephone. It is very important to have your SchoolMessenger® information up-to-date and correct. The district announces school delays and closings through SchoolMessenger®, local TV and radio.  Please contact the school if you need to update your phone or email.
